Setting Up Your Gas Connection with Origin Energy

To ensure your gas for hot water and cooking is connected from the moment you move in, it's important to set up your Origin Gas account as soon as possible.

Your building has a centralised hot water and gas system supplied by Origin. Each apartment is individually metered, so you’ll only pay for the hot water you use.

How to Apply

To make sure your hot water service remains connected, you’ll need to open an account with Origin. There are three simple ways to do this:

  1. Online: Fill out the online form at originenergy.com.au/bhwopenonline
  2. By Phone: Call Origin directly on 1800 684 993 (Available 7am–9pm Monday to Friday, and 9am–5pm Saturdays)

Tip: We recommend calling Origin to apply over the phone. Sometimes the Vantage apartment numbers don’t appear in their online system, and speaking with them directly ensures everything is set up properly.
